Can you do /ireadblog ?

With the nice increase of players, and the recent MC 1.4.x updates, we lost a good number of people. I should really remember to put a 10 minute news up about not updating one's client until server is updated.
If you updated and wish to play on the server, either find a way to downgrade your vanilla client, or get the SpoutCraft MC client from Spout.org.

Thanks to all that vote for the server, though I'm sure many of you do it just for the money. If we can get enough votes per day, per server listing, we can concentrate the donation money towards improvements to the server. Extra memory, for more plugins and increasing chunk distance viewing, and up our slots to 20 (not going higher than that, I promise!).
Why worry about the donations? I spent $120 for a sponsored spot on mcserver.org for 4 weeks. That's a good chunk of money that could have gone toward upgrading the server or keeping it up for 2-3 months. If we get enough votes, the server ranking will improve, if the rankings improve, we won't have to waste money on getting traffic into the server. From what I can tell, everyone likes the server, well, almost everyone. The people who are not of age or don't like how 'mature' we try to keep the server, think we are, well, you get the idea.

This weekend we will be talking to a couple possible new DenPatrol people to see if they are willing to help with the server. The only thing that bothers me is, lack of staff for the mornings, which I can understand. People are either working, classes, or might be asleep still, or other stuff I can't think of.
Please note, for those wanting to be staff on the server, the best way to improve your chances is not to ask, but show. Show us that you are mature without stating how good you are. Show us how helpful you are without trying to kiss up to the staff. Show us how active you are without stating how much you do in time. We are looking for people who are themselves.

I plan to go through and re-arrange the supercapes permissions per TierDonation and member groups. As some capes stopped working, or partially working at all. All capes will remain on the server, but the ones with removed permissions will remain as collectables.

I plan for this week an event raid, as a community, to go into the depths of OffWorld and raid the dungeon underground before the world is regenerated for MC 1.4.x. Meet up around 12 server time this Saturday.

Lastly, we are looking for coders. We are not wanting a plugin made from scratch, but to resurrect a couple old, but fun, plugins. For starters, the SuperCapes plugin is going down hill, every day I hear about this or that cape has stopped working. Another plugin I wish to return is RandomMobs. It's basic functionality is have random skins for the mobs. Last I knew, RandomMobs stopped working. If it's still working, let me know, I haven't attempted to run it for a while.
What do you get for helping with wanted-but-dead plugins? If you're an active player on the server, you'll get Tier3 or Tier4 donation spots for your work. If you're not very active, we can send you the respective money via PayPal.
