Other than just another random creative and survival server, we aim to do things differently than other servers dare: Allow and Do more than those pesky instructions say.

Join us on our server either by the game itself, or in Dynmap. We are running MineCraft 1.4.7 with Craftbukkit/Spigot and Spout. Spout Craft is Optional, But Preferred.

Server Down

The server has been down for over 18 hours and unknown when it will be back up. I am still waiting for news from HGS, still now answers yet, they seemed to have dropped off the planet, which is really weird from them to do this.

Countering the annoyances of cheaters and hackers

While trying to keep things fair, the use of SpoutCraft has given the easiest and assuring way to find cheaters and hackers in their actions. Starting Jan 1st, all members are required to use SpoutCraft. If a member or higher joins the server without spoutcraft, they will temporarily demoted to the default/guest permissions group until they relog-in into the server with SpoutCraft.

Anyone that is not a member of the server will still have the same guest/default permissions as any new player to the server.

Pushing the limits, Enjoying the changes, not the crashes

Been pushing the server's limits, a few boundaries found here and there, fixed along the way, most being my mistake.


Dynmap now has multiple maps of the normal worlds (soon to have skylands back).
In order as seen on dynmap:
Flat (top-down) Day view only.
Flat (top-down) Day-Night Cycle view.
3D (30degree angle) Day view only.
3D (30degree angle) Day-Night cycle view.
Cave (30degree angle).


All other worlds are topdown and 3D (30degree angle).
All rendering, with the exceptions of TopDown/Flat are in HD rendering. We are looking for a decent texture pack for the blocks seen on the map. The default is fine, but something unique won't hurt.

Spout Dev-Builds have been added to the server. Nothing fancy has been truly added as of yet. If you are spout-craft/spout-plugin user, you have access to, currently default, menus and texturing, along with seeing user health bars above their heads and targeted mobs/players in the Heads Up display. Still have not added the Elemental Arrows as of yet. I'm working on it.
The biggest difference that could be seen is the random mob texture changes. Currently none are set up as of yet. We just need textures of mobs if you'd like to submit some. Some mobs, like wolves, have multiple textures.
Capes will be added shortly. If you'd like your own cape, please submit a link or send me the image. I'll upload the file and link your character to it. You will be also able to do so in-game shortly.

The bi-weekly plugins are still in effect, but lately, most don't work properly, which in turn, annoying me. So far, we've let Herobrine run around for the last month. Would really like to get BloodMoon and WaterMonster working.

Pushing Forward, expanding, learning, then laughing for our stupidity.

A lot has been going on around for the server and real life for some to most of us. Server is constantly being updated to non-rb of CraftBukkit in order to keep back bugs and glitches, while no suggested RB, some plugin authors have started stating what they support, which is very helpful. Though, to this date, Spout is not supporting any NON-RB until the CB team has made one. Until then, about half the server features are disabled, not installed, or we're using temp-replacements until they are fixed.

We've been having issues with the Teleport and Warp systems, we are about to replace them with an all-in-one plugin if the authors can't figure out what is going on. Sometimes getting stubborn answers don't help.

I have been tweaking dynmap, about to start fresh on it due to a fullrender issue. I think I just have the HD settings set too high. Sometimes a fullrender doesn't go for a full distance and stops, but what it does complete, looks dang good.

I am currently making my own /help system with rtriggers, though this may take a while.

Lastly, we have a more reasonable donation system. While ingame, use the /buy command choose your option, then you will be given a URL to go to in your webbrowser to pay for it. Once the payment has gone through, you will instantly become donator status.
So far, there is only one donation reward, upping your permissions group to more abilities. I'd like to add more options for rewards for donating. Like paying X amount and you get a full set of diamond armor and weapons. I can even set how long a donation reward is given. But items cannot be time controlled.
