Who Are We?

What are you doing here?
We have a real site as of 3-3-2012!
Trust us, it looks and feels better there!
MCDen @ Mine-Craft-Den.com

Other than just another random creative and survival server, we aim to do things differently than other servers dare: Allow and Do more than those pesky instructions say.

Join us on our server either by the game itself, or in Dynmap. We are running MineCraft 1.4.7 with Craftbukkit/Spigot and Spout. Spout Craft is Optional, But Preferred.

Manually Downloading the Spout Item/Block files

We no longer accept this. We have been having issues with players not seeing the right textures. You will have to log in to the server to download the textures. Some times repeated logins will be required if you are on a slow internet connection.

----====----

Some users may have very slow internet speeds to download all the files needed for the non-vanilla items/blocks. I have made a quick copy of the cache folder of all the items on the server that are normally downloaded from the server. With these files in your spoutcraft folder, they will not be downloaded from the server, as they already exist.

Instructions below can be found in the ReadMe in the .zip.

The files in this zip file contains a quick cache copy of my own for the mcden minecraft server for spoutcraft users.

http://m-c-den.blogspot.com/

These files are to help shorten the time for new players to join the server for the first time with SpoutCraft.
 - If these files are not in the cache folder, they will be downloaded from the server either way. While these files
are being downloaded, the SpoutCraft client will then act very slow or even time out. Stay on the server as long
as you can to download the files. If knocked from the server, just rejoin to finish downloading the files.

The method is similar to adding files to your minecraft. Instead of visiting the .minecraft folder, visit the .spoutcraft folder.
Then go to spoutcraft > cache. Place the folders from the .zip into the cache folder and you are good to go.

If you have never accessed your MineCraft folder before:

Place the folders inside the .zip into your:
C:\Users\ <user name> \AppData\Roaming\.spoutcraft\spoutcraft\cache
 - If you can not find the AppData folder
Click Start and type %appdata% and hit enter. Open .spoutcraft, then spoutcraft (no this is not a typo), then cache.
Place the folders in this .zip into the cache folder. You should see three new folders: ExtraFurnaces, MoreMaterials, and SuperCapes.
Any other folders found there can be ignored.
