Due to issues with the server randomly freezing with no word of why, and help from others at the spigot forums, there are plans on a bit of overhauling on the server.
We are currently at 58 separate plugins on the server. Some say that is far too many for a 16 slot server. Everyone has their own style, but I do plan to cut that number back some.
For those of you that chat with us on the facebook group, there is a poll about the Creative World. I will leave it up until Monday. So far, no one has interest in keeping the Creative World. When it is removed, and it will be up for download, the PlotMe and WorldInventories plugins will be removed. They will no longer be needed. This not only saves us a couple plugins, but the random inventory wipes will be gone. Though I'm not 100% certain on that last fact.
I have changed things up on the way we fight xrayers on the server about a week ago. Not many will notice, but you now have a limit, basically per hour, on how many each ore you can mine per hour. I'm not going in details on how it works. I will state that if you are SpoutCraft user, and if the Clog plugin is doing as it should, SpoutCraft users will not have a limit.
This has freed up a fair bit of ram on the server, though with the addition of a couple plugins. At least less stress on the server and client side about the Fools Gold.
I have removed MoneyDrop, the plugin that usually drops money when you kill a mob. In order to get money for killing, I have readded the Knight class in /jobs. This should also make it a bit harder for players to get quick money, but I'm sure many of you will find a way around this.
We will readd MobArena after the Creative World has been removed entirely. MobArena was removed due to a player exploiting the glitch between MobArena and WorldInventories. Though with the rules, such exploits are not permitted, I was convinced to let him stay.
Many other plugins, such as More-Mobs will only be enabled bi-weekly, as random event plugins. I'm aiming for 50 plugins currently. More changes are to come. once I'm happy with the setup, I'll update the plugins page and the /plugins list ingame, which are both terribly out of date.
